President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday felicitations to three distinguished Nigerians—former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Major General Haladu Anthony Hananiya (rtd); businessman and traditional title holder, Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu; and his Special Adviser on Policy Coordination, Hadiza Bala-Usman—commending their contributions to national development and public service.
In a message marking Major General Hananiya’s 84th birthday on January 2, President Tinubu praised his long and illustrious career in the military, diplomacy and public service.
He highlighted Hananiya’s roles as General Officer Commanding, Defence Adviser and High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador to Ethiopia, and later as Corps Marshal of the FRSC from 1994 to 1999.
The President described him as a humble and selfless leader who continues to provide guidance as national leader of the Gongola People’s Forum.
President Tinubu also congratulated Alhaji Saleh Ahmadu, OON, Madaki Lokoja and Makama of Kakanda Kingdom, on his birthday on January 1. He described Ahmadu as a distinguished Nigerian known for enterprise, philanthropy and commitment to community development.
The President acknowledged his leadership in trade modernisation through a Nigeria Customs Service–facilitated project and praised the humanitarian impact of the Saleh Ahmadu Foundation, as well as his role in promoting social cohesion and religious tolerance.
Similarly, the president celebrated Hadiza Bala-Usman on her 50th birthday on January 2, lauding her nearly three decades of impactful public service.
Tinubu highlighted her contributions at the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Abuja Enterprise Agency and the Nigerian Ports Authority, as well as her current role as Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU). He described her as a dedicated patriot whose work continues to strengthen governance, accountability and the delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
