Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has raised alarm over threats to her life and that of Ebere, who is reportedly Pastor Chris Okafor’s baby mama. Ogala claims the cleric has repeatedly attempted to intimidate them.
In an emotional video, the actress said that an individual she identified as an aide to Pastor Okafor instructed her to send Ebere away so the pastor could “handle her.” Ogala also revealed that the threats have made it unsafe for the woman to leave her home.
She stated that when she confronted the pastor about the pregnancy, he denied any responsibility. Ogala added that Okafor allegedly asked if she knew any kidnappers, which made her fear for Ebere’s safety. She also claimed that the cleric had engaged in numerous fraudulent activities, which Ebere was aware of.
The video showed both women in tears, with Ogala appealing to Nigerians for help, explaining that she had been receiving multiple threatening messages. She said that when she met Ebere, the woman had only ₦5,000, and she sent her ₦100,000 to help her.
Ogala further disclosed that she had been contacted by the police more than once. Besides an initial invitation, she said another police station in Maitama reached out to inform her that a magistrate court had filed a defamation case against her and that she needed to report.
The controversy reportedly began after Pastor Chris Okafor’s engagement photos were shared online. Since then, Ogala has continued to publicly accuse the pastor and share details about what she claims happened to his alleged baby mama.
