Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated Dr Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote on her appointment as the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Oyebanji described the appointment as well deserved, noting that Odusote, an indigene of Ado-Ekiti, is the first woman to head the nation’s foremost legal training institution.
The governor also commended President Tinubu for selecting Odusote, saying the choice reflected confidence in her academic pedigree and administrative competence.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, Oyebanji said he was confident that Odusote would deliver excellently, given her track record in previous national assignments.
He described the new Law School boss as a distinguished scholar and seasoned administrator with a reputation for integrity and excellence in academia.
Oyebanji urged Odusote to deploy her experience to strengthen legal education in the country, particularly at a time of critical reforms in the justice sector.
The governor assured her of the support of the Ekiti State Government and its people, while wishing her success in the new role.
