Nigerian rapper Oladips has reconciled with his former label boss, Reminisce, ending years of public tension and lyrical exchanges.
In his new song, Iba Paris 26, Oladips admitted he was wrong and expressed regret over how their relationship ended. He said repeated attempts to reach Reminisce privately failed, prompting him to use music as his final avenue for reconciliation.
“I tried to make contact severally but it didn’t work. This is me saying it openly,” he said in the track.
Oladips began his career under LRR/EDGE Records, owned by Reminisce, but their relationship later deteriorated. In 2019, Oladips publicly complained about hardships while signed to the label, despite having successful songs, and accused the label of blocking his exit.
The dispute spilled into interviews, social media and music, with both artistes exchanging perceived diss tracks over the years. Oladips has previously said the feud negatively affected his career and industry relationships.
