In a statement issued on Wednesday, NASENI said the initiative is designed to harness innovative ideas from public servants to address key national challenges and improve public service delivery through science and technology.
The agency explained that the competition aligns with its statutory mandate to develop and maintain a dynamic infrastructure capable of driving indigenous industrialisation, job creation and national development.
According to NASENI, participating MDAs are invited to submit innovative solutions across critical sectors such as health, agriculture, education and infrastructure, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and improve the quality of life of Nigerians.
“The initiative seeks to encourage innovation within the public service and foster inter-agency collaboration that can lead to practical, technology-driven solutions to national problems,” the statement said.
NASENI added that entries for the competition can be submitted via its official website at https://naseni.gov.ng/innovation/.
The agency urged MDAs to participate actively, noting that the competition provides a platform to unlock Nigeria’s potential through innovation in science and engineering.
