The event, held at the Uyo Open Amphitheatre, attracted thousands of people and featured the presence of many prominent personalities in the state, as well as members of the clergy and a mass choir.
Akwa Ibom has been a centre of tourism activities since December 1, 2025, with various programmes and events lined up to mark the yuletide season. The state is expected to remain a hub of entertainment and tourism activities, with concerts, fashion shows, food exhibitions and cultural displays scheduled to run until January 1, 2026.
The Akwa Ibom State Government, through its Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is actively positioning the state as a major tourism and entertainment hub in Nigeria.
