Fresh drama has emerged in the ongoing dispute over the paternity of Liam, the son of the late singer Ilerioluwa Imole Aloba.
Months ago, the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, stirred controversy when he demanded that his daughter-in-law take a DNA test to verify Liam’s paternity. Since then, the issue has moved back and forth in court, with Wunmi accusing her father-in-law of withholding the signatures needed to proceed with the test.
In a recent update included in a court filing, Wunmi detailed some of Joseph Aloba’s alleged actions. She claimed he insisted that the DNA test be carried out at two foreign hospitals of his choice, asserting that only those facilities could produce accurate and trustworthy results.
The document also accused Joseph Aloba of trying to influence the outcome of the test, despite being the one who requested an additional examination.
According to Wunmi’s submission, the court has now concluded that it will independently choose the hospital where the DNA test will take place. It further ruled that Joseph Aloba must bear all related expenses since he called for the second test. Both parties were also directed to make themselves available once the test date is set.
