In the images, Bassey appeared alongside fellow officers in full military gear as she revealed that she had completed a strenuous mountain hike. The journey covered eight miles and required her to carry over 60 pounds on her back. Sharing her accomplishment with excitement, she wrote about successfully completing the tough exercise.
“8-mile hike up and down the mountain with more than 60 lbs on your back Did I just do that? Yes, I did. Thank you, Lord,” Bassey shared.
Previously, Bassey announced on Instagram that she had finished her US Navy boot camp, officially becoming a US citizen. Posting a photo in her uniform, she expressed heartfelt thanks to God, her family, and supporters, emphasizing that her journey was challenging but guided by her “roots, faith, and vision.”
