President Bola Tinubu has officially launched the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration emblem and appeal fund at a ceremony held inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The event, which marks the annual kickoff of nationwide fundraising and awareness activities in honour of Nigeria’s fallen heroes and veterans, drew the attendance of top security chiefs, including the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar; and senior representatives of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), among others.
