President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos for his end-of-year break following official visits to Borno and Bauchi states.
Tinubu arrived at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos at about 7:40 pm on Saturday.
He was earlier in Bauchi on a condolence visit to the family of the late Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, who died on November 27 at the age of 98 after a prolonged illness.
During the visit, Tinubu approved the renaming of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), Bauchi State, in honour of the revered cleric.
In Borno State, Tinubu commissioned several projects executed by the Babagana Zulum-led state government in partnership with the Federal Government, as part of ongoing efforts to boost infrastructure and development in the state.
While in the state, the President also attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
