President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Bauchi on a condolence visit to the family of the Late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi.
The revered cleric died on November 27, after a protracted illness was aged 98.
President Tinubu arrived at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, at about 4:50 pm
He was received on arrival by Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, alongside Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, ministers, and other top government officials present at the airport.
Among the ministers on ground were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and the Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, who joined other dignitaries in welcoming the President.

Before then the Bauchi State Government has announced temporary diversion of traffic routes within the metropolis ahead of the visit to the state.
The Bauchi State Government also called for the understanding and cooperation of the public during the visit.
