Residents of Warri have issued a stern public warning to social critic Very Dark Man (VDM), telling him to stay away from the region following his mid-flight altercation with fellow critic Mr. Jollof, who is from the area.
In a video circulating online, men from Warri criticized VDM over the fight and commended Mr. Jollof for defending himself and the region’s honor. They warned VDM of severe consequences if he attempts to visit.
Their explicit warning included:
“If we see you for warri we go naked am.”
They accused VDM of disrespecting their “pikin” (child) and disowned him:
“Verydarkman we been like you before but now we don discharge you from our group. As na Warri pikin you follow dey do nonsense for plane abi. We no wan see you for Warri! Jollof no be anyhow person.”
They also issued a message to Mr. Jollof, acknowledging his actions:
“Jollof thank God say you carry Warri up, if say you fall our hand you no go enter area again…”

Lieutenant Yamari has remained in the spotlight since his widely circulated altercation with Wike in Abuja. In the trending clip, Wike is heard calling the officer a fool, and Yamari calmly responds, “I’m not a fool, sir.”
The creative TikTok user turned that exchange into a fashion statement.
Her video features a white round-neck T-shirt printed with images of both the minister and the naval officer. The shirt also carries the bold inscription: “I have integrity. I’m not a fool, sir.” The clip has since gained widespread traction online.
In another development, unverified reports claim that the naval officer was followed on Sunday evening around 6:30 p.m. by two unmarked Hilux vehicles from a NIPCO filling station to Gado Nasco Way in Abuja. He reportedly noticed the vehicles trailing him and managed to evade them through a strategic maneuver.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Olaniyi Festus Ayoola has taken to Facebook to share memories of Yamari from their days together at Victory Comprehensive College, offering more insight into the officer’s personality during secondary school.
