Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Luanda, Angola, where he is representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 7th African Union–European Union Summit holding from 24 to 25 November 2025.
Shettima was received at the Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport by senior Angolan officials and members of Nigeria’s diplomatic mission.
The summit brings together heads of state and government, young leaders, innovators, and civil society groups from both regions. Over the two days, discussions will centre on climate change, inclusive development, infrastructure, the digital economy, the creative industry, manufacturing, and agribusiness.
Vice President Shettima is expected to join high-level engagements that will advance Nigeria’s priorities and contribute to shaping the future of AU-EU co-operation.
