Three writers from two African countries, Ghana and Nigeria, have arrived in Iseyin for the November–December 2025 edition of the Ebedi International Writers Residency. The writers are Prince Litela Agbemedu from Ghana, and Tunde Akingbondere and Stephen Mokuye, both from Nigeria.
In a statement on Thursday, the organisers of the Ebedi International Writers Residency noted that, in addition to their individual writing projects, the writers will also mentor secondary school students in Iseyin during their four-week stay.
The Ebedi International Writers Residency is a private initiative that provides writers with a conducive environment to complete their ongoing works.
Since its establishment in 2010, the facility has hosted 380 writers from 12 African countries.
The current class of male residents is sponsored by Adwinsa Publications Ltd, a Ghana-based publishing and printing company with outreach in Nigeria, where some of its texts are included in the educational syllabus. Adwinsa offers a comprehensive range of services, including publishing, printing, consultancy, and the distribution of educational materials.
