Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, addressed the third session of the 2025 G20 Leaders’ Summit.
Speaking on behalf of Nigeria, Shettima called for a global framework that ensures African countries benefit from critical minerals, supports decent work, and promotes ethical standards for artificial intelligence.
The summit, themed “A Fair and Just Future for All: Critical Minerals, Decent Work, Artificial Intelligence,” focused on inclusive development, equitable trade, and responsible technological governance.
