In a post on X by Segun Dada, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, the high-level briefing, which is still ongoing, includes the Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the DSS.
The meeting comes shortly after the President announced the release of 51 kidnapped church members in Euruku Local Government Area of Kwara State.
In his announcement, President Tinubu commended security agencies for their recent breakthroughs and assured Nigerians that operations to rescue the remaining abducted students are ongoing.
“Let me be clear: I will not relent,” the President said. “Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.”
