The Onishe of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, James Onwordi, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing marital crisis between actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko.
In recent days, social media has been filled with clips of Regina Daniels expressing her frustration over issues in her marriage, sparking widespread discussions and reactions from fans and fellow celebrities who have taken sides in the matter.
Taking to Instagram, the traditional ruler advised Senator Ned Nwoko to reconcile with his wife rather than allow the conflict to escalate.
According to Onwordi, the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, was Nwoko’s way of defending his name following threats and accusations made against him. He, however, urged the politician to consider releasing Sammy in the spirit of peace.
The monarch went on to criticize Regina and her family for bringing their private matters to the public, describing it as inappropriate. He also alleged that the actress had tried to damage her husband’s reputation and suggested that Sammy’s arrest should serve as a cautionary tale to others.
Despite his call for reconciliation, many social media users strongly opposed Onwordi’s remarks. They questioned why he would encourage Regina to remain in a marriage where she had reportedly faced mistreatment. Some accused the monarch of being biased and argued that it would be healthier for both parties to go their separate ways.
