Social media personality Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has issued a public apology following his altercation with comedian Mr Jollof on a commercial flight.
The incident, which involved a physical confrontation between the two, occurred on a United Nigeria Airlines flight traveling from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos.
In an Instagram video, VDM was seen wearing bandages and initially making light of the situation, before removing them to deliver a formal apology.
Acknowledging his misconduct, he expressed remorse to United Nigeria Airlines, the flight crew, fellow passengers, and his followers. While he admitted he couldn’t promise such an incident would never happen again, he assured that it would not occur in public.
“I acted really irresponsibly, and I’m sorry. I can’t guarantee it won’t happen again, but it won’t happen on a plane, a bus, or in public,” VeryDarkMan said in part in the video.
