In preparation for the examination, the Civil Service Auditorium was fully rehabilitated and equipped with over 400 state-of-the-art computers, robust networking infrastructure, and a reliable power supply, ensuring a seamless digital testing environment.
The recruitment exercise, which will run in five streams daily, reflects the Governor’s commitment to a transparent, merit-based selection process. Candidates are able to receive their examination results immediately upon completion.
Applicants expressed appreciation to Governor Eno for introducing digital testing, describing it as a progressive step towards fairness, accountability, and efficiency in the recruitment process.
The examination was supervised by top state officials, including the Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy, Dr. Frank Ekpenyong; Commissioner for Information, Dr. Aniekan Umanah; Rector of the Digital Academy and Skills Acquisition Centre (DASAC), Prof. Enoidem Usoro; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor (Lagos Liaison), Michael Effiong; and representatives of the Office of the Head of Civil Service and the Civil Service Commission.
Governor Eno had earlier approved the recruitment of 4,000 personnel into the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service to strengthen the workforce and meet the operational needs of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
