Nigerian comedienne Warri Pikin has clarified why a “gun” was spotted among the items she packed in her hospital bag before the birth of her baby girl.
Recently, the entertainer shared a behind-the-scenes video showing how she prepared for labour. In the footage, she organized baby supplies and personal essentials but what really caught viewers’ attention was a gun-shaped object tucked in the bag.
The unexpected item sparked reactions online, with some fans joking that she was gearing up for a fight, while others assumed it was just another one of her comedic props. Many, however, demanded an explanation.
Responding to the curiosity, Warri Pikin posted a follow-up video from her hospital bed. In it, she cradled her newborn while her husband slept peacefully beside her.
Her caption finally addressed the matter, noting:
“For everyone asking why I packed a gun in my hospital bag, here’s the reason.”
She humorously revealed that the “gun” was intended for her husband, who she joked had already started dodging his share of the new baby responsibilities.
