First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the abduction of 25 students from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State, and the killing of the school’s vice principal during the attack.
In a statement on Tuesday, the First Lady described the incident as a devastating assault on innocent children and the educators committed to their development.
She disclosed that President Bola Tinubu has directed security agencies to ensure the swift and safe rescue of the abducted girls and to bring the perpetrators to justice without delay.
She extended her sympathy to the families, friends, and school community affected by the tragedy, offering prayers for the safe return of the missing students.
The first lady also prayed for the repose of the slain vice principal, asking God to grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus.
