The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 personnel as part of its ongoing internal reforms.
The agency announced this on Tuesday via its official X handle, stating that the move aligns with efforts to maintain professionalism and integrity within the Service.
The DSS also cautioned the public against engaging with some of the dismissed individuals who, according to the Service, continue to pose as active personnel to carry out fraudulent activities.
“In addition to earlier disclaimers on Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, the Service finds it necessary to warn citizens about the fraudulent activities of some of these individuals still posing as DSS personnel,” the statement read.
The agency advised Nigerians to refrain from any official dealings with these dismissed individuals.
For transparency, the DSS noted that the names of all affected personnel have been published on its official website at www.dss.gov.ng/media/more/4.
Members of the public seeking clarification, making enquiries, or filing complaints were also encouraged to reach the DSS via its hotline: 09088373515 or email: [email protected].
