INEC announced that APGA garnered a total of 422,664 votes, leaving its closest rival, the All Progressives Congress (APC), far behind with 99,445 votes. The Labour Party (LP) followed with 10,576 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) trailed with just 1,401 votes.
Soludo’s victory was emphatic across all 21 local government areas of the state, highlighting APGA’s dominance in Anambra politics. In Dunukofia, APGA secured 14,892 votes against APC’s 3,284; in Njikoka, APGA recorded 22,213 votes compared to APC’s 5,687. Similarly, Awka North gave Soludo 15,895 votes, while APC trailed with 3,661.
The governor recorded his strongest showing in his home local government, Aguata, where APGA amassed 35,559 votes, leaving APC with 4,125 and YPP with 2,746. The winning streak continued in Orumba South and Orumba North, where APGA polled 19,818 and 24,664 votes respectively.
In Oyi, Anambra East, and Anyamelum, APGA maintained wide leads, with 18,882, 14,665, and 13,340 votes respectively. Soludo’s dominance extended to major urban centres, including Onitsha North (24,225 votes for APGA to APC’s 4,677) and Awka South (27,896 to 5,038).
APGA’s overwhelming lead was most evident in Idemili North, where it secured 25,498 votes compared to APC’s 638, and in Nnewi North, where the margin exceeded 19,000 votes. Even in areas where APC put up some resistance, such as Nnewi South and Anyamelum, Soludo maintained a comfortable advantage.
