President Bola Tinubu has congratulated two prominent Nigerians — Khalil Suleiman Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), and Alhaja Adiat Durorike Jokotade Subair, popularly known as Iya Sunnah — on their birthdays.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Halilu, who turned 35, as one of the youngest appointees in his administration and a driving force behind the modernization of Nigeria’s technological and industrial sectors.
Tinubu lauded Halilu’s dynamic leadership and forward-thinking reforms, noting that his efforts have repositioned NASENI as a key player in the country’s industrial growth.
“Mr. Halilu has demonstrated youthful energy, clarity of purpose, and a deep commitment to harnessing indigenous innovation for economic diversification and job creation,” the President said.
He wished the NASENI chief continued wisdom and success, urging him to sustain his contributions to the Renewed Hope Agenda and Nigeria’s pursuit of technological self-reliance.
In the same vein, President Tinubu celebrated Alhaja Adiat Subair, who marked her 80th birthday, commending her for decades of service in the judiciary, public administration, and community development.
The President described the octogenarian as a woman of faith, integrity, and impact — a former magistrate, public administrator, and women’s leader who has left enduring marks in every sphere she served.
Tinubu recalled her exemplary service at the Lagos Executive Development Board, the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), and the Lagos Judiciary, as well as her leadership as President of the National Council of Women’s Societies (Ikeja Chapter), where she championed women’s empowerment, education, and social justice.
