Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has stirred mixed reactions online after sharing a video of her food outreach in Canada.
On Monday, October 28, the actress revealed that she distributed 150 packs of food to homeless individuals on the streets of Ottawa, where she is currently based.
This charitable act comes just days after reports emerged that Sarah was allegedly assaulted in Lagos during a previous outreach.
According to a report by GistLover, Sarah claimed that while she was carrying out a community feeding program, she was confronted by officials believed to be from the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force.
In response, the Lagos State Government confirmed that the actress had been apprehended by environmental officers, stating that her activities violated sanitation and safety regulations.
Unlike her outreach in Lagos where she cooked meals directly on the streets her recent video from Canada showed her preparing food inside a kitchen before distribution.
“From going grocery shopping, to cooking with the CEO of @suyaroyale under the supervision of @ricci_products representatives, to sharing the sumptuous, well-spiced 150 packs of food with homeless people on the streets of Ottawa,” she wrote in a caption.
