A young lady on social media has publicly called out Nollywood actress Regina Daniels following the star’s recent display of her new house and private jet.
In a video making the rounds online, the lady alleged that Regina had previously used the services of her uncle, who owns a logistics company in Abuja.
According to her, during the period when the actress reportedly complained about facing domestic violence in her marriage, her uncle was contacted to help. He allegedly rented out a Prado Jeep to pick Regina up from her husband’s residence.
The lady explained that the rental fee for the vehicle was ₦150,000 per day, and while payment was made for only two days, the car was reportedly used for a longer period.
She claimed that when her uncle requested payment for the extra days, he was directed to the man who initially rented the car. However, the man allegedly stated that he had only covered the two days’ cost and expected the actress to settle the outstanding ₦570,000 balance.
Things reportedly escalated after some back-and-forth over the payment, leading to the arrest and detention of the lady who had initially reached out to her uncle for help.
In her narration, the woman said that at one point, the police informed her uncle that the detained lady had escaped after asking to use the restroom. She further alleged that all attempts to reach Regina Daniels afterward proved futile, as the actress had reportedly traveled to Lagos by air.
The woman ended her video by pleading with Regina Daniels to pay the money owed to her uncle. She suggested that perhaps the actress had given the funds to someone else to handle, and the person failed to deliver. She clarified that her post was not meant to attack Regina but to make a friendly appeal for her to settle the debt.
