According to a report by GistLover, Maduka condemned the growing trend of lavish spending at parties, describing it as a “dead value system” that negatively influences society and misleads the younger generation.
The billionaire further advised Nigerians to reject the glorification of wasteful lifestyles, warning that the “money na water” mentality promotes indiscipline and weakens the values of hard work and integrity.
In what appeared to be a response, Cubana Chiefpriest, well-known for frequently using the slang, took to his official Instagram page to fire back with a subtle jab.
He wrote:

The celebrity barman also used the opportunity to promote his upcoming music project titled “Money Na Water,” sharing a teaser clip of the song along with the post.
