Idris stated this on Wednesday in Maiduguri during a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Umar Isa Kadafur, as part of activities marking the meeting of the APC Commissioners of Information Forum.
He commended the people of Borno for their courage and unwavering spirit in the face of daunting challenges over the years.
“Borno State is clearly Nigeria’s most resilient state, against the backdrop of the severe challenges it has experienced in the last decade,” Idris said.
The Minister lauded the people’s determination and ability to rebuild their lives and communities despite the impacts of insecurity.
He added that the perseverance of Borno residents serves as an inspiration to the rest of the country.
“The people of Borno State symbolize the strength and staying power that Nigerians are imbued with, and it is therefore appropriate for all other Nigerians to not only praise the citizens of the state but speak proudly of their ability to overcome challenges,” he said.
