At the high-profile ceremony held at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, SIFAX Group was named Outstanding Indigenous Conglomerate of the Decade, Afolabi won the Outstanding Maritime CEO Personality of the Decade while Akande clinched the Outstanding Corporate Communications Personality of the Decade.
The accolade, according to the organisers, recognises the company’s remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth through its diverse investments in maritime, aviation, logistics, haulage, oil and gas, and hospitality.
Publisher and CEO of Marketing Edge Publications Limited, Mr. John Ajayi, described the wins as “well-deserved recognition of a conglomerate and its leaders who have consistently redefined excellence in business leadership, innovation, and communications.
