Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has announced her victory in a defamation lawsuit against Polace Media Limited, operators of naijanews.com.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Adunni celebrated the win, writing that she was grateful to the “Nigerian Court of law” for granting her justice.
The case stemmed from a 2023 report in which she was listed among “six popular Nigerian celebrities” allegedly dating Senator Dino Melaye — a claim she described as false.
The actress had sued the media outlet for N100 million, accusing it of invasion of privacy and defamation.
She wrote: “I won my case — Adunni Ade vs. Polace Media Limited (www.naijanews.com)
A false story was published about me, but truth stood tall.
This judgment reaffirms that privacy matters — and so does integrity.
Justice delayed isn’t justice denied.
