Yinka Theisen, the former fiancée of actor Linc Edochie, has vowed not to bow to pressure despite facing a ₦500 million lawsuit from May Edochie.
Rather than stepping back, Theisen fired back at May, accusing her of going too far and warning that she was fully prepared for a prolonged and messy legal showdown.
On August 19, 2025, May’s legal representatives at Gray Law Partners issued a cease-and-desist letter. The document demanded that Theisen withdraw her alleged defamatory online remarks, tender a public apology, and pay ₦500 million in damages.
According to the notice, Theisen’s posts had severely dented May’s reputation and allegedly triggered a wave of online harassment against her, resulting in what was described as “irreparable damage” to her personal image and business ventures.
But Theisen was unshaken by the hefty demand. Responding via Instagram, she accused May of endangering her safety by allegedly exposing her private address to the public.
Dismissing the legal threat as laughable, Theisen boldly declared that she was ready to counter with her own lawsuit.
She wrote:
“Once again May Yul Edochie has violated my privacy. Putting my address on social media. You are truly insane!” You think you are the only one that can file a law suit? Be ready for a life long law suit.”
Not stopping there, Theisen went further in another post, branding May “a clown” and daring her to proceed with the case.
