Technology Company, Globacom, last Friday brought joy and financial relief to seven of its subscribers, rewarding them with millions of naira through the company’s Jolly Product Cash Award scheme.

The winners from different categories of the promotion, including Jolly Life, Jolly Wheel, Jolly Win, and Jolly Trivia, were celebrated at prize presentation ceremonies, held in various cities across Nigeria.

The biggest winner of the day was Sunday Efenure, a 69-year-old technician from Edo State, who took home the top prize of ₦1 million from the Jolly Wheel promo. Speaking at the ceremony in Lagos, a visibly happy Efenure admitted his initial skepticism. “With the rate of scams, I didn’t believe it,” he said.  “With the rate of scams in the country, I didn’t believe it. My wife told me to check, and I even asked my son to make verifications about it. When he confirmed it was real, I hurried down to Lagos. I am grateful to Glo for this life-changing reward,” he said with visible joy.

In Ibadan, Taiwo Oni, a 39-year-old resident, received ₦500,000 from the Jolly Life category. His twin brother, Kehinde, was so excited he declared in Yoruba, “E chop am o! me sef don run go buy my own Glo SIM. I must win!” (meaning “He’s won! I’m going to buy my own Glo SIM and I must win, too!”).

The cash awards continued to provide timely blessings for other winners across the country. In Abuja, Esther Clifford won ₦500,000 in the Jolly Win segment, describing her prize as “a blessing that came at the right time.” Christopher Onajobhe from Warri, who also won ₦200,000, praised Globacom for its dedication to improving the lives of its subscribers.

Other notable winners included Denem Usman Maji from Nasarawa and Godwin Udanna from Onitsha, who each received ₦100,000, while Ijeoma Anogwa from Enugu took home ₦200,000. All the winners shared how their prizes would provide crucial financial relief for their personal and family need.

During the ceremony in Lagos, Mr. Mojeed Aluko, Globacom’s Head of Value Added Services, presented the cheques and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to rewarding customer loyalty. He congratulated the winners and encouraged more Nigerians to participate in the promos Nigerians to participate in the Jolly promos by dialling *13199# on their Glo lines and following the menu prompt to join the list of winners.

Similarly, Tolulope Aminu, the representative of Tetragrammaton International, Globacom’s partner in the initiative, urged the winners to spread the news of their luck in order to encourage others to  participate.
