In a post shared online, Erigga cautioned parents against justifying or covering up their children’s misbehavior, warning that such negligence could have dire consequences in the future.
His words were clear:
“If you defend your children misbehavior, one day you will hire a lawyer to defend their crimes. Discipline is not child abuse.”
The Warri-born rapper stressed the importance of instilling discipline early in a child’s life. According to him, while some parents confuse correction with harshness, discipline remains a crucial tool in shaping responsible adults.

“I knew it wasn’t just a song it was my plea for guidance. It belonged to me,” Gold said.
