Popular singer, Okafor Uchenna Victor, better known as Mr Real, has accused his colleague, D’banj, of ripping him off, claiming that all he benefited was $500 in two years of working for him.
He made this known while speaking in a recent interview.
According to him, D’banj had exploited him during the two years they worked together.
He claimed that during their time together, he had been used as an ambassador for D’banj’s CREAM brand but never received any benefit from it, despite promises by the Koko Master.
The singer recalled how D’banj was allegedly given a car to give him, but instead had parked it, even though he, Mr Real, didn’t own a car.
He lamented that D’banj had ripped him off big time.
“D’banj ripped me. No be say allegedly, he did. Anything wey make me forget Banger I go leave am for my mama wey don die. You can’t be with a man for 2 years and only thing you gain is $500. What kind of wickedness, selfishness is that?” he lamented.
It would be recalled that in 2023, Mr Real had called out D’banj over an alleged debt, insisting that the musician had made a lot of financial promises but never fulfilled any.
Additionally, he had claimed that D’banj owed him his own share from the proceeds of their 2018 song, ‘Issa Banger’.
