Renowned gospel musician Yinka Ayefele has unveiled a new song in response to the devastating fire that hit his radio station, Fresh FM, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to reports from Legit.ng, the blaze impacted two of Ayefele’s stations—Fresh FM 105.9 and Blast FM 98.3 along with surrounding offices, including the newsroom, transmitter, server room, and various equipment essential for daily operations.
On Monday, August 18, Ayefele shared a video on his Instagram page in which he performed the heartfelt song in Yoruba, praying for God’s mercy and asking for restoration of everything lost in the incident.
Footage circulating online also showed CAC Prophet Sam Alo at the scene with Ayefele and others. The cleric offered prayers and comforted the singer following the fire. Preliminary reports suggest that the incident caused damage to equipment valued at over N200 million.
