In a recent video, social commentator VeryDarkMan responded to a viral clip featuring a man who alleged that Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is his biological father.
The clip quickly circulated across Nigerian social media, sparking debate and skepticism among users.
On Tuesday, August 26, VeryDarkMan shared the video on his social media accounts, adding a message directed at security agencies, including the police, army, and DSS. He urged them not to misinterpret his actions, clarifying that his aim was simply to assist the man seeking recognition and not to show disrespect. He also called on Nigerians to bear witness in case he faced any backlash.
In the video, VeryDarkMan explained that, since he could not personally arrange a DNA test, he opted to compare facial features using images of the man, President Tinubu, and a young woman reportedly identified as Tinubu’s daughter.
Using a lighthearted approach, he examined features like the nose and smile, noting a potential resemblance between the individuals. While flipping through screenshots, he suggested the man might plausibly resemble a relative or even a son, based on appearance alone.
However, he emphasized that these observations were purely speculative and not definitive proof.
He also advised the man to approach the matter carefully and avoid making unverified claims for attention, warning that chasing clout could lead to disappointment.
Despite the humorous tone, VeryDarkMan insisted his intentions were genuine, expressing hope that his efforts might help the man connect with his alleged family if the claims were accurate.
