Several fans of Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez reportedly lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from his concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island.
According to eyewitness accounts shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the victims had engaged in a reckless car race on the expressway after leaving the show. The tragic incident, which involved at least four vehicles, has sparked grief and outrage online.
Eyewitness Account
One user, @alli_ya7, who posted videos from the scene, described the heartbreaking moment:
“The people that died coming back from Seyi Vibez concert last night, omg. Why did they race???? Why??? They left the show and started racing on the express, trying to overtake other cars.”
Sharing more clips of the wreckage, she added:
“Why!!!!!! Why race on the highway 😭 To think I saw one of the guys last week, now he’s gone. May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS.”
