Global media and communications agency HAVAS Red has announced the launch of HAVAS Red Nigeria, marking a strategic expansion of its PR, social, and content capabilities across West Africa.

The move strengthens the agency’s presence on the continent, following earlier expansions into South Africa (October 2023), Côte d’Ivoire (April 2024), and Kenya (July 2025).

HAVAS Red, the global PR, social, and influencer arm of HAVAS, is known for its merged media model, which integrates earned, social, experiential, and content strategies to help brands connect with audiences meaningfully. Since its 2019 inception, the agency now operates in 23 markets, including Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, the U.K., U.S., and Vietnam.

“Expanding into Nigeria is a pivotal step in our continued growth across Africa,” said James Wright, Global CEO of HAVAS Red and Global Chairman of the HAVAS PR Network.

“With a strong local team led by Dare Oyegbola, HAVAS Red Nigeria is ideally positioned to bring our merged media model to life in one of the continent’s most dynamic and creative economies.”

Dare Oyegbola, Managing Director of HAVAS Red Nigeria, brings over a decade of experience across advertising, experiential, production, and communications.

He emphasised the agency’s commitment to delivering “bold ideas, deep insights, and meaningful storytelling” to help clients earn attention and trust across multiple platforms.

“With the addition of HAVAS Red Nigeria, we’re not only expanding our footprint but also enhancing our ability to deliver integrated, community-focused communications across Africa,” said Provit Chemmani, CEO of HAVAS Africa.

“Our goal is to provide greater value while remaining attuned to the cultural nuances of each market we serve.”

HAVAS Red’s global recognition includes Global Midsize Agency of the Year and EMEA Midsize Agency of the Year by PRovoke Media in 2024.

The agency has delivered award-winning campaigns for clients such as adidas, Coca-Cola Studio, Chivas Regal, Domino’s, Novartis, Merck KGaA, and the U.K. National Health Service Blood & Transplant.

The agency has also developed specialised offerings, including Industry by HAVAS Red for B2B communications, Peaks for executive branding, Red Impact for ESG and sustainability initiatives, Health by the company for health and wellness, and Red Connect for B2B content marketing.

With its launch in Nigeria, the company aims to combine global expertise with local insights, helping brands navigate the evolving media landscape and foster meaningful engagement across West Africa.
