The new season kicked off last weekend, with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu officially introducing the housemates to viewers across Nigeria. Since then, tensions in the house have quickly escalated.
A viral clip circulating online shows a tense altercation between housemates Imisi and Rooboy. The drama began when Imisi refused to wash a pot, boldly challenging Rooboy to “do his worst” and even taunting him with a reference to his forefathers.
Switching to Yoruba, Imisi unleashed a series of insults, warning Rooboy that she is not someone to be disrespected and claiming her reputation in Ebute Meta speaks for itself.
Rooboy, unfazed, clapped back in Yoruba, calling her “mad” and insisting her outburst meant nothing to him. Other housemates quickly stepped in to prevent the argument from spiraling further, urging both parties to keep their distance.
Interestingly, Rooboy had already earned a “dramatic” reputation during his introduction on stage. His energetic entrance almost knocked over Ebuka as he enthusiastically greeted the audience.
The clip has sparked mixed reactions online, with some viewers amused by the early chaos and others speculating on the kind of punishment Big Brother might issue to curb further clashes.
