A petition demanding the withdrawal of the medical license of Big Brother Naija housemate, Faith Adewale, has surfaced on social media.
Faith, who is a practicing medical doctor, recently clashed with fellow contestant, Imisi, over the use of a cooking pot. According to reports, the pot had been set aside for Faith, but Imisi ignored the warning and decided to prepare noodles with it.
The disagreement escalated, and in anger, Faith threw away the food Imisi was cooking. Some of the meal splashed on Imisi, leaving her in tears as other housemates stepped in to calm the situation.
Shortly after, an online petition calling for Faith’s medical license to be revoked began circulating. Although it had yet to attract many signatures at the time it was spotted by GistLover, the development triggered mixed reactions from fans.
While some accused Imisi’s supporters of masterminding the petition due to the duo’s strained relationship, others criticized the move, insisting that the reality show should not be used to sabotage a contestant’s professional career.
This is not the first time Imisi has been at the center of controversy in the house. Weeks earlier, she engaged in a heated quarrel with Rooboy, where she told him to “go to his forefathers” before housemates stepped in to de-escalate the situation.
