Embattled socialite Samson Erinfolami Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, is once again facing intense backlash from fans following a controversial video he posted on TikTok.
Sam Larry has remained a trending topic on social media since activist Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan (VDM), reignited public interest in the case surrounding the late singer Mohbad. As past videos and alleged chats involving Naira Marley and others resurfaced, criticism of Sam Larry escalated.
In response to the mounting hate, Sam Larry posted a TikTok video of himself dancing and singing along to a song by gospel singer Yinka Ayefele. The lyrics speak about having enough personal burdens and urge others not to add to them. The song also touches on how people often use past actions against others.
In the video, Sam Larry made a pointed hand gesture, signaling that he was watching his critics closely—a move many interpreted as a subtle warning.

The gesture, combined with the song’s message, did not sit well with viewers. Fans flooded the comment section with insults, taunts, and warnings. One woman even sarcastically asked if he could help her “deal” with her ex, while others demanded clarity on his gesture and warned him not to threaten or harm anyone speaking out.
Despite the backlash, Sam Larry has remained defiant, using his platform to seemingly address his detractors without directly responding to the accusations.
