Popular Nollywood actor and producer Femi Adebayo has shared the life-changing moment he decided to leave law behind for a career in acting.

In a recent interview with Pulse, Adebayo revealed that he was earning just ₦20,000 monthly as a lawyer when an acting opportunity came along that changed everything.

“Acting was just a hobby for me back then,” he recalled. “But then I was offered ₦50,000 to act in a movie for just three days. Meanwhile, my full monthly salary as a lawyer was ₦20,000. That was when I told myself, ‘Femi, this acting is your calling.’”

That eye-opening moment marked a major turning point for him. He left his law career and embraced acting fully a decision that has led to a successful career in Nollywood.

Femi Adebayo’s journey has not only been driven by talent but also inspired by the legacy of his father, veteran actor Adebayo Salami, fondly known as Oga Bello.
