The bodies of Diogo Jota and his brother, André Silva, have arrived at a church in Gondomar, Portugal, ahead of their funeral following a tragic car crash on July 3.

The brothers, aged 28 and 26, died in a fiery crash after the tyre of Jota’s Lamborghini reportedly burst while overtaking.
They were en route to catch a ferry to the UK, as Jota had recently undergone lung surgery and was advised not to fly.
Meanwhile GISTLOVER reported that Cristiano Ronaldo, the renowned captain of Portugal’s national team, has expressed disbelief over the death of Diogo Jota, saying it “doesn’t make sense.”
Jota, a Liverpool forward, tragically lost his life in a car accident in the early hours of Thursday. He was traveling with his brother, Andre — also a footballer — at the time.
Ronaldo wrote on social media: “Doesn’t make any sense. Just now we were together in the National Team, just now you were married.”
“To your family, to your wife and children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world.
“I know you will always be with them. R.I.P. Diogo and Andre. We will all miss you.”
