BBNaija No Loose Guard star Zion Ogeifa has finally responded to the claims made against him by his ex-girlfriend and fellow housemate, Chinwe Okafor, during the highly anticipated reunion episode.
Taking to Instagram, Zion set the record straight with a lengthy statement, revealing the real reasons behind the collapse of their relationship and addressing issues of money, respect, and betrayal.
In his words:
“You disrespected me and my people over and over again while secretly being involved with women. That’s betrayal.”
Zion went on to explain that from the start, he had made his ambitions clear to Chinwe. He had plans to focus on building his fashion and lifestyle brands, @relics_one and @boyshostelint, and while she offered help at times, he stressed that it was never a one-sided effort.
“You tried to shame me repeatedly. Let’s not forget you earn your income in ways I could never consider, yet I never judged you for it,” he stated.
He also touched on an incident involving his birthday celebration, where he racked up a N1 million bill at a club. According to him, he only asked Chinwe for N270,000 to help cover the cost, a decision he now regrets.
“Looking back, I shouldn’t have expected anything from someone who didn’t truly support me,” Zion reflected.
The revelation didn’t stop there. Zion further disclosed that Chinwe’s team still owes his management the sum of N1 million a debt he has chosen to overlook for the sake of peace.
“Yes, your team still owes mine N1 million. I told them to forget it because I cared.”
