The backlash follows a video released by VeryDarkMan, featuring an interview with Sam Larry and an audio clip of a conversation between Sam Larry and artist Zlatan Ibile.
In the interview, Sam Larry denied claims of bullying Mohbad, insisting that the widely circulated 9-second video was misinterpreted. He claimed his actions were playful, stating that he merely tapped the singer and jokingly asked for his share.
However, the clip ignited widespread anger online. Many Nigerians accused Sam Larry of dishonesty, countering his statements with resurfaced footage of Mohbad allegedly suffering abuse at the hands of both Sam Larry and Naira Marley while he was still alive.
