Popular British singer Jessie J has revealed on Instagram that she recently underwent breast cancer surgery.
She shared that she is now waiting for further test results to understand the next steps in her cancer journey.
In a post on June 24, Jessie reflected on the emotional ups and downs she has experienced in the 48 hours since her operation.
“Blood warning!! This post is some of the honest lows and highs… I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through,” she wrote, alongside photos and a short video from her hospital bed.
“Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family/friends who came to visit.”
She added that she is now home to rest and awaiting results.
“Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!”
