Nigerians who are travelling to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj season now have an unmatched deal from Globacom, which enables them to make calls and enjoy data while on pilgrimage at the most competitive rate.

Globacom and its roaming partners are offering the most affordable tariffs for customers going to Saudi Arabia, either for Hajj or for a business or holiday trip.

A statement from Globacom said that “by providing the best roaming solution where customers can make voice calls and browse using a single bundle, they are assured of getting the best value for money while on pilgrimage or on any other visit to Saudi Arabia”. The statement also added that Globacom has ensured that the customer will be incurring less charges while using its roaming services at pay as you go rates in Saudi Arabia.

The various packages have been designed to cater for different needs of customers. For N2,500, the subscriber gets 5 minutes of Voice plus 100MB of Data with a validity of one day. For N5,000, a customer gets 10 minutes of Voice calls in addition to 250MB Data.

1 GB Data is available for N10,000 and is valid for 10 days, while for N25,000, the customer gets 2.5 GB of Data with a validity of 30 days. The biggest of them all is the N50,000 pack that gives the customer as much as 6GB of roaming data and has a validity period of 60 days.

These bundles ensure the customer can capture memorable moments in Saudi Arabia and share with family, friends and loved ones either back home in Nigeria or in any part of the world.

To enjoy any of these bundles, all a customer needs to do is to dial *312# and select option 8 for Roaming and thereafter follow the prompt to purchase a bundle of choice. The great advantage is that customers can purchase a bundle in Nigeria and it will auto-activate once they land in Saudi Arabia.

However, customers who do not want to be tied to a bundle can opt to use the service on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. This will still give them the best in-market value at N30 per MB for data browsing, N350 per minute for calls back to Nigeria and N270 for local calls within Saudi Arabia and also send local SMS at N50.
