Social media influencer Janemena revealed a tense moment from her early marriage that nearly led to divorce.
Janemena and her husband, Andre Plies, are known for their loving social media presence.
In a recent Instagram post, she explained why her husband considered divorce in their first year of marriage in 2019.
The problem arose from his disapproval of her friendship with someone unnamed.
Despite this, she maintained the friendship, which escalated tensions to the point where he sought legal advice, incurring high fees.
Janemena mentioned that her husband requested a discount on the lawyer’s fees, and she asked for the lawyer’s bank details to pay in full.
Additionally, she noted that her friendship with that person had deteriorated.
She wrote: “The way I keep my life private, nobody knows I and plies had a very serious issue in the first year of our marriage in 2019 that had to do with him telling me to stop being friends with this person and I said “Never”, it got so heated to the point he called his lawyer and said he wanted a divorce, lawyer billed him huge asap and he started asking for discounted price untop divorce and that’s how I shouted from behind, Lawyer, Abeg send your account details, I will send all the money 🤣………
