Popular Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has opened up about why he’s never experienced heartbreak.
In a candid conversation during the first live edition of the WithChude podcast, Falz reflected on his love life and revealed that he has never truly fallen in love.
When host Chude Jideonwo asked him, “Did someone break your heart so badly?” Falz responded:
“I have never been heartbroken. If you don’t put your legs inside water, can you drown? I haven’t presented my heart that much to be broken. I have been giving small of it ooo.”
He continued by clarifying that while he does feel emotions, he has never taken the step of expressing deep romantic love.
“But in a romantic way, I have never told somebody ‘I love you’. It is not a sad thing, I’m not devoid of emotion, don’t get it twisted. I have said, oh I really really like you. I just haven’t said ‘I’m in love with you’.”
The artist’s remarks shed light on his cautious approach to romance, offering fans a glimpse into his personal boundaries when it comes to emotional vulnerability.
