Ayanfe Mary Grace Adesipe, popularly known as Ayanfe Worship, is a Nigerian spiritual singer with a mission to serve God through music, according to Vanguard. She believes that her songs are divinely inspired and are meant to unite the body of Christ.
As a prophetess, Ayanfe felt a strong calling to use music as a form of worship, which led her to leave behind her banking career and focus solely on her music ministry.
Her passion for music started at a young age, and she sees her talent as a gift from God, meant to share His love with others. In a recent conversation with a reporter, Ayanfe expressed that she has always known she would release music to glorify God’s name.
Ayanfe began singing in 2020, but her journey was initially hindered by the poor quality of her compositions and the absence of a mentor. However, it became a dream come true for her when she finally released her debut singles, “King of Glory” and “Arise and Shine,” on Good Friday.
She is planning to release over 10 singles before the end of this year. For Ayanfe, her mission is to use her music to bring the Christian community together, inspire others, and serve God through her gift.
“My life is a representation of God’s love. He has built me over the past two decades. I have a lot of encounters with Christ. Early in life, I used to know I had this passion to serve God through songs. I have exceptional talent in reading, writing and singing,” she explained.
Ayanfe worked in the banking sector for over a decade but felt a burning desire to sing for God. “I love to sing in secret. So, after I left the corporate world, I established my own organizations to actualize my mission on earth,” she stated.
Her music conveys messages of unity and love, aiming to unite the body of Christ in one spirit. She believes that her songs are inspired by divine experiences and scripture.
“The songs I am releasing are gateways for God to begin to unify the entire body of Christ. The end message is to bring back all people to Christ,” Ayanfe said.
Seeing herself as a representative of God’s love, Ayanfe uses her musical talents to inspire and serve others. Her music is designed to connect and motivate, with various elements that help communicate her message.
“I draw my inspiration when I am worshipping or in a board meeting. Many of my songs came through supernatural experiences,” she further explained.
With her music and ministry rooted in faith, Ayanfe is emerging as a unique voice in the Nigerian gospel music industry.
